"Violation of Community Guidelines"

I just logged in to see if i had actually posted the liner notes from last year's PAC and, whoops, no i did not, even though i finished writing them way back in September, and was greeted by a message that one of my posts has "violated community guidelines."

What the fuck is this? Facebook did the same shit to me a couple months ago.

Telling people they have "violated community guidelines" and then giving them a link to the community guidelines document without telling them what guideline they have violated is patently useless. Is flagging a violation supposed to incite a corrective action? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT CORRECTIVE ACTION TO TAKE, BLOGGER, IF YOU WILL NOT TELL ME WHAT MY VIOLATION WAS???

The message didn't even tell me which post the supposed violation is for. I had to scroll back through the archive until i found a red exclamation point, which is on a post from 2011, and still does not explain the violation.

I submitted it for a review but who the hell knows what that even does.

The rampant censorship of the internet is not doing anybody any favors. Web 3.0 sucks.

"Blogger is a service for self-expression and communication. We believe Blogger increases the availability of information, encourages healthy debate, and makes possible new connections between people. It is our belief that censoring this content is contrary to a service that bases itself on freedom of expression." Not really feeling that right now, Blogger. Figure your shit out.

Anyway the 2022 liner notes are up now.
